John has been in the Banking and Finance Industry since 1971. Initially starting in ANZ in Brisbane, he has held a wide range of positions in metro and regional branches as well as sales and lending centres. John's extensive dealings with small business and commercial enterprises across South East Queensland in ANZ have provided him with a unique appreciation of the diversity and business style of Queenslanders.

In 1984 he moved to Esanda Finance and was responsible for a number of roles involving administration, lending and client relationship management. The 1990's saw him specialise in sales and marketing where he was able to apply his extensive background in banking and finance for both the long and short term benefit of his clients.

In 2001, John left Esanda became a partner in a national broker firm until the establishment of Broadlink in 2006.

In 1997 John completed a Diploma in Management, is a currently a Senior Associate with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (formally the Australian Institute of Banking & Finance), and is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) in the state of Queensland.
